About Us
The Linen Closet is the realization of our dream, a day dream really. Two girlfriends, Vickie Eichelberger and Patty Costanzo, just sitting on the back of a houseboat, sipping sangria, drooling over our favorite catalogs. We would discuss at length what kind of store we’d want to shop at. If “we” had a store we’d fill it with luxurious things, pampering and beautiful things. We’d find sumptuous linens and unique accessories. Not too long afterwards we left our day jobs and made this day dream a reality.

The Linen Closet - Our Successful Dream

I’d like to tell you that we both got degrees in business; we didn’t. I’d like to tell you we went to interior design school, but neither of us did that either. What I can tell you is we have a decorating style that makes our guests feel welcome, spoiled and inspired. As one of our customers put it, “You girls just have an eye.”
The truth is, we work really hard to find items you will love. We are thinking of you when we scour the markets. We’re thinking of the husband who wants a gift she can use everyday, and the hardworking woman who needs her master bed and bath to be an oasis. We’re thinking of the frantic shoppers that need a bunch of gifts under twenty bucks and something for the hard to buy for Mother-in-law. Vickie and I think of ourselves as your secret personal shoppers.

Our shop interior

Some of our finds include down comforters that are truly hypoallergenic and buckwheat pillows for perfect neck support. We offer luxury items, like high thread count sheets and Egyptian Cotton towels. We sell the best smelling candles, lotions and french milled soaps we can find. You can also get scrumptious robes, silky pajamas and fun slippers here. The Linen Closet is also a great source for unusual, thoughtful gifts, from microwavable teddies to bath caddies.

Our customers become our friends, and our customer service will prove the point. If you need special help we are happy to an accommodate you. We also invite you to visit our brick and mortar store, in Eureka California. Not the California most of you are familiar with, but the very north coast, behind the “redwood curtain.” We are blessed to live in one of the most naturally beautiful and remote areas in the United States and we would love to share it with you.

Thanks for Visiting The Linen Closet,
Vickie and Patty
